One day Teresa gave me a call,
She had a little pup,
Who needed some socializing,
She’d had a rough time growing up.
So I said sure I could help her,
And I went to pick the dog up,
I became acquainted with Bailey,
A six-month old sheltie pup.
As I drove her over to my house,
She threw up in the crate,
But she looked so lovingly in my eyes,
How could I be irate?
Bailey and I went walking
So she could learn and grow,
She pranced like a proud little sheltie,
With a warm, friendly glow.
Well after the two hour visit,
I knew down in my heart,
That Bailey was like missing family,
And I didn’t want us to part.
After a few weeks of testing,
To be sure this was right,
Bailey came to live with me,
Every day and night.
Bailey’s now eight months old,
And she’s still full of play,
I’m so glad she came here,
She’s brightened up each day. |
